Botox/Xeomin

[Neuromodulators]

Neuromodulators such as, Botox and Xeomin are produced by the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum, also known as Botulinum Type A. Once injected, the neuromodulator attaches to the nerve endings, blocking the release of Acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that is responsible for facial muscle contractions. This causes relaxation of the muscle resulting in the disappearance of fine lines and softens deep wrinkles. Both Botox and Xeomin are a fantastic way to prevent the formation of pesky lines and to correct existing deep wrinkles.

Results can be seen as soon as 7-10 days and may last up to 3-4 months.

PDO Threads

[Polydioxanone Sutures]

Polydioxanone (PDO) thread is a nonantigentic suture that lifts loose, sagging skin and repositions it to a more desirable area. As the thread dissolves it will trigger an on going collagen response that will improve the texture and tighten the skin. The end result leaves one with a youthful appearance and skin that is tighter and rejuvenated. Target areas: Jowls, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, jawline and browlift. This treatment is minimally invasive and nonsurgical and there is little to no downtime.

Juvederm/Restylane/Versa

[Hylauronic Acid Filler]

Injectable Hylaronic Acid (HA) is a type of temporary dermal filler. Hylaronic acid, also known as hyaluronan, is naturally found in the body and it’s main function is to retain water to keep your tissues well hydrated(lubricated) and moist. An abundance of HA is found in our skin, connective tissue and eyes. As we age, we begin to loose fat, muscle and bone. The loss of this tissue in the face can lead to a sunken gaunt appearance, sagging skin and the formation of deep wrinkles and fine lines. Injectable HA is used to reestablish the structure of the of face, restore the framework and adds volume to help soften deep wrinkles and fine lines. Areas to be treated: cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds (laugh lines), under eyes, temples, jawline, jowls.

Semaglutide

[GLP-1 Agonist]

Semaglutide is the active ingredient in Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus. Semaglutide is used for weight loss in specific patients, and also to lower blood sugar levels, and to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events such as heart attack or stroke in certain patients. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 agonist that works by increasing insulin release, lowering the amount of glucagon released, delaying gastric emptying, and reducing appetite.

Semaglutide injections are given as subcutaneous injections once a week.

Microneedling

[Percutaneous Collagen Induction Therapy]

Microneedling, also called percutaneous collagen induction therapy, is performed using a handheld, drum- or pen-shaped device, electrically powered, with tiny needles that make precise, microscopic punctures in the skin. These “micro-injuries” do not leave scars; they work by helping to stimulate the skin to repair itself naturally through a process called dermal remodeling.

This process starts with inflammation, which stimulates the skin to produce new collagen (the elastic fibers that make skin tight, smooth, and youthful). Collagen levels in the skin decline as we age, and new collagen can be produced when the skin is in repair mode.

Three to five monthly or biweekly treatments are recommended to achieve desired results. Through a series of sessions, microneedling can increase elastic skin fibers. Microneedling also helps the epidermis (the outermost layer of skin), which naturally thins with age, become thicker and tauter.
